The KIWANIS tournament turns 15

February 20 marks the 15th Annual KIWANIS Volleyball Tournament, our longest-running event, with competitive and recreational tiers.

Our longest-running event hits a milestone this season: the 15th Annual KIWANIS Volleyball Tournament runs Saturday, February 20 at Yale Secondary, in partnership with the Kiwanis Club and the Yale athletic department.

The KIWANIS is our biggest day of the year. It runs longer than our other tournaments (check-in at 7:30am, first serve at 8:00, awards around 5:30pm), and it splits the field into two categories: Tier A for competitive teams and Tier B for recreational ones. That way a rec team gets a full day against other rec teams, with no club players rolling them. Final tier groupings depend on how many teams register in each category.

The format is coed 6s, six on the court with at least two women playing at all times, and every pool winner takes home Champion T-Shirts. One quirk makes the day feel like a community fair: every team brings a minimum of two door prizes, and they get drawn all day long.

Entry is $45 per player including spares. Fifteen years in, this tournament fills up. It draws teams from across the Fraser Valley, and the entry deadline lands about a week before game day. Enter your team from the tournament page, or register as an individual and we'll find you a team that fits.

Spectators welcome, admission free. Come for the door-prize draws alone.
