How the Volleyball Around Abbotsford Society handles your information.
When you create an account or register for a program we collect the information needed to run that program: your name, email address, phone number, and — for youth programs — your child's name, birth date, and your emergency contact details. When you sign a waiver we record the signature, date, and the document version you agreed to. When you pay, payment is processed by our payment provider; we retain a record of the amount and method, never your full card details.
To run registrations, check-ins, schedules, and standings; to contact you about programs you're registered in (confirmations, cancellations, schedule changes); and — only if you subscribe — to send the AVB community mailing list. Attendance and waiver records are kept for safety, insurance, and legal requirements.
AVB will never sell or give away your information. We do not share personal information with third parties except the service providers needed to operate the site (hosting, email delivery, payment processing), and only for those purposes.
You can update your account information at any time, unsubscribe from the mailing list from any email we send, and request a copy or deletion of your personal data by contacting play@abbotsfordvolleyball.com. Waiver and attendance records may be retained where required for legal or insurance purposes.
